People listen to people they know, like, and trust. This is true whether they’re shopping for a car or picking a restaurant. Sales people spark skepticism; friends evoke trust.
What is true in marketing is even more true in the pursuit of God. People are skeptical of strangers and hucksters, but people they know, like, and trust are safer bets.
In this sermon, we see how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things in the lives of friends, neighbors, and family.
