Caleb gives a report on this summer's Bike Shed Ministry before the sermon.
Question: 43% of men in a new survey from MSNBC said they have no idea how to do this. What is it?
Answer: Tie a tie!
How many of you know how to tie a tie? How many of you even wear a tie? How many of you would wear ties more if you knew how to tie them?
Sometimes we don't do something because we don’t know how to do it. Sometimes we don’t do something even when we do know how to do it. This is true of bigger decisions we need to make. We may know how to do the right thing, but we may choose not to—perhaps because it’s too hard or costs too much. Today, we’ll look at two people who know what’s right to do and choose to do it, and as a result, their story is one of the inspiring stories in Scripture. Pastor Jill will bring us a message from Ruth 3 called, “The Story of Your Life - Part 2” OR “Be An Ordinary Hero.”
