Blessed to Be a Blessing: What to Do When Things Work Out
Topic: Gratitude Passage: Ruth 4:13–4:17
Question: According to a new study by AAA, 28% of new cars sold today do not come with this. What is it?
Answer: A spare tire!
How does that make you feel? Does your car have a spare tire? Accidents happen. Tires blow out. Batteries die. And we find ourselves stuck on the side of the road. What will you do the next time things go wrong with your car?
But good things happen too. Sometimes things work out and you feel blessed. The question of the morning is: What will you do then? What will you do when you get good news, when people come through for you, or when God is good? Too many of us take blessings for granted and everyone is the poorer for it.
This morning, we will be called to notice the blessings we receive and do something about them. Steve’s message is called “Blessed to Be a Blessing: What to Do When Things Work Out.”
