Topic: Give Us What You’ve Got Passage: Matthew 25:14–25:30

Question: If you are plagued by hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia, what are you afraid of? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_OLv05g3Ak)
Answer: Long words!

Dang. That's a mouthful. If it stumps you, don't feel too bad. Even dictionary.com chose to take a pass on that one. There’s no entry for it there!

Fear is a common but complex emotion. Some fears are well-founded, cause us to take appropriate precautions. But other fears are irrational and do nothing but freeze us in our tracks.

This morning, we’re talking about regrettable fear and our need to overcome it. Our conversation centers around a story Jesus told and the sobering lessons he calls us to learn. If you want to live a life of purpose, faithfulness, impact, and joy, Steve’s message is for you. It’s called "A Call to Imperfect Action: Give Us What You’ve Got.”
