Answer: A salad!

Well that was unexpected! Have you ordered out for a salad?

Interestingly enough, Jesus did unexpected too. He did unexpected things, for unexpected people, in unexpected places, and He still does. While He’s personal, He’s also unpredictable. When He doesn’t act the ways we expect or hope, we get uncomfortable, scared, or maybe even angry sometimes.

So what do we do when Jesus doesn’t act they way we want Him to? Today we’ll see what the people of His time did, and learn about the call on our lives in times like this. Pastor Jill’s sermon is called “Letting Go of our Idea of God.” It’s part 6 in our series “The Kingdom of God.”
