Question: Of the top 3 holidays for the highest sales of flowers and plants, Valentine’s Day is the #1 winner for the holiday with the most flowers purchased each year. What are the other top 2 holidays?

Answer: Christmas & Mother’s Day!

Bonus Question: What flower is most popular on Mother’s Day?
Answer: Carnations!

Giving flowers is a sign of appreciation and gratitude. And all women at Celebration are worthy of our appreciation and gratitude, for sure! Yet sometimes, on days like Mother’s Day, in addition to appreciation or thanks, other emotions are also heightened and we can feel sad, left out, or lonely.

This morning, we’re not handing out flowers, but we will celebrate all of you women for the way you love and care and nurture us all! Not only that, we’ll see how God transforms and heals our understanding of family and belonging. Pastor Jill’s message on this subject is called “A Reason to Celebrate!”
