Question: In a recent survey, 60% of parents said doing THIS with their kids is the most stressful part of the holidays. What is it?
Answer: Traveling!
Traveling brings some inherent stress, and when we travel with people who have different ideas of what we should do, how we should do it, and when we should arrive at our destination, the stress is only increased. It can even lead to arguing and fighting.
Whether traveling for the holidays or traveling through life, we all experience stress, difficulty, obstacles, and even pain and loss. It can leave us desperately longing for things to be good, for there to be a deep and settled peace. It’s a longing that God’s people have had throughout history and have prayed and hoped for. Not only for the future but here and now. We continue our series on the prayers of Christmas as Pastor Jill brings us a message called “Praying for Peace.”
